If the music industry has indie label to differentiate with the major label, then in the world of fashion, we have :

A CONCEPT STORE !

Recently, after attending the fashion trade, i notice there are lots and lots of buyer coming from 

"a concept store" and since its one of the most famous international fashion trade in Paris, i know now that
this phenomenon seems to be very happening worldwide...

So what and why those stores become very hip lately?

By its name, we can tell that this is not just a store.. then what is the difference between the usual normal store with the concept store?

For a gourmand like me, i can say... unlike the usual one, they have... a Cafe or a small Resto inside !

Like The Broken Arms, a new parisian concept store in the chic district, le Marais, whispered said they have a delicious cheese cake to taste ! nyum nyum !

Then.... they have a particular, fun way of decoring their store !

These are pictures that i took at Merci, and as you can see, it's not just about the clothes ! they sell something witty and decor the store based on it ! When i pass to Collette last weekend, i couldn't say that they have some particular design, but.. they do have nice choice of stuffs... 

you could find very good choices of books, souvenirs,

and of course..... your favorite designer's items !

Want to experience what they call "The next level"?? well just visit these concept stores ! i even add the list of the concept stores i should definitely go when traveling ;)

SPRING !

Ever since i live in Europe, Spring is simply becoming my favorite time of the year.. It seems hopes are clinging in the air.. the sun lasts longer, the weather gets better, the flower starts to blossom.. just perfect ! So i spent couple of days in Angers, France, to visit a friend and also to feel the real spring, since cold weather still surrounding Paris (uhum, yea, no joking on this)

so it was a very relaxing weekend.. Angers is a small town with a small population, every corner of the town is walking distant, though, there's a tramway too. What i appreciate the most during my visit here is... The WINE ! best white wine i've ever tasted! you should really try.. For sightseeing, some touristic points not to be missed is the famous Angers' Castle (Chateâu d'Angers), the complex is not too big, and there's a little garden behind this Castle, a historical cathedral or a chill city walk could be an option too, as the city is quite cute.

Another thing that i love love love (yes, i say three times that word) is, i find these little things that made my day (Thanks Anna ! for accompanying me trying this and that)

it's been like months i'm longing for spring to arrive. Better days, sun rays, warm air, that could chill any frozen heart, and turn a frown into a smile, including....... turning dark colors to a brighter one.. so after couple months using dark purple and red nail polish, i'm in the urge (yes, i am) of giving some twinkle and some hope in my nails. and my choice this time goes tooooo a blue green nail polish from color club, a brand i discovered in the Tranoi Tradeshow during the Paris Fashion Wee. Which color is your fave?

it has been a while actually since i want something small (because i always “feel lost” among the things i put in a big bag,  just because i thought “ah look there’s still another space, lets put this and that incase i need it” but in the end i never use them : if you feel it put your hand up..)  yet big enough, to put my iPad on it, or my lunch box (LOL) 

so yes, i want an oversized clutch, because it’s pretty, it’s fashionable (at least i think so),  and it’s useful ! and my heart goes in love with this pretty clutch from Guess, with a coral decoration in the middle, and there i was like “it is the one” 

A starbucks tumbler ! 

look how cute it is ! i mean, it’s always cool to run to starbucks every morning for your hot chocolate, what is not cool is you have to wait to find the closest store before going to work, meanwhile you have no time! 

As for me, i love a cup of hot chocolate in the morning and i need it like IN THE MORNING, after waking up, get prepare and before going to rush the morning, taking metro and say hello to my work desk. But…you know, 5mins in the morning is a treasure, so the solution to have my proper hot chocolate in between is by taking a cup of it, after getting ready and before taking metro while…… walking. yes. while walking. 

So meet my new best friend of the year 2013, a cute little red tumbler from starbucks !

well for this one, i think every girl will understand why :))

these little lucky charms are too precious, because they have a sweet meaning, the evil eye and the hand of fatma, were meant to protect you from bad things that might happened to you. what could be better than lucky charms with the swarovski elements that glittered your arm?

 there’s nothing could beat the candy in our eyes other than have a cute nail polish color and some rings to accessorize our fingers..

Well this time i offer you a name of a jewelry designer that you might not know yet, Joanna Laura Constantine 

I first discover her collection through the period of my internship in one of most well known jewelry showroom in Paris. Her collection is simply eye-catching and so lovable that made you want to have all of them. It’s fresh, it’s young spirited, It’s bold, it’s different, and it definitely has the quality. 

For a price range from $74.41 for the arrow ring to $325 for the long branch ring with cubic zirconia… as pricey as it might seems, it’s worth to take a look on her pieces, to give pleasure to the eyes ! 

well, if we can’t have a diamond linger on our finger right now, cute little cz scattered around our ring finger would be fine too, right?

I guess there are things that every girls should do during their broken heart period
1. Hangin out with your girlfriends, instead of locking yourself in your room and crying… yes you need time, and yes you need to cry.. but being with your girl friends could really ease the pain (i feel that !! )

2. Put a baby pink nail polish :) simply to cheer you up. Struggling through a bad time doesn’t mean you should not take care of your look right? anyway, give yourself some credits would not get situation worse, but make you feel better

3. Do something. Cooking, Watching series, reading books…instead of looking at your phone every seconds of every minute.

Fashion 2.0

Recently, i have an e-bussiness class, which i found interesting, just like the world's of internet that has always been enchanted me.

From the way it changes the communication flows with it's rapidity to transfer the messages and it's ability to show information in one click, to the fact that it ables to provides the analysis of our work through Google Analytic application and through it's capacities to read how many visitors that visited our website, where are they come from, and what they have done or left during their visits.

These advantages have affected lot's of domaines, one of them, is surely, Fashion.

Name the changes of the things that are existed today. Before, the only way to buy clothes is to visit the boutique and try the pieces that interest us there. Now? we can chop things that interest us, have them delivered to our home, and have our bedroom as the fitting cabin.. Happy? keep it.. Unhappy? resend it! so so simple..One of the leader fashion e-company that i personally love is ASOS as it provides a very good delivery's delay, a bunch of list of the fashion products with an interesting offer, and it provides a reliable after sells service, where we can return our products...

The list is still going on, it's not only about e-shop, it's also about "short fashion film" that is being launched by several brand such as Chanel, Dior, Prada,... and distributed online, that some years ago, it's not existed! and thanks to the internet (and you tube) we can see and access their campaign easily. 

As for me, how can internet help me through my fashion-carreer path?
There are some application that i fond of, named Instagram and Pinterest..These two applications allow us to share our pictures, in an interactive and interesting way. Through pinterest, you can create boards of your interest (could be in architecture, design, fashion, or anything else) and start collecting pictures that you like, that could inspire you or could be useful to communicate your ideas! and through instagram, you could take pictures and share it with people from around the globe, with your harshtag, and let them admire your pictures, and you could pretty do the same way too!
